Tom Randall founded Wiretap in 2007 to make four online adverts for T-Mobile with former SAS soldier Chris Ryan.
Tom has worked around the world as a Director, a Producer and a Journalist. He has contributed to films for every major UK television channel - BBC ONE, BBC TWO, ITV, CHANNEL FOUR, CHANNEL FIVE and SKY. Key credits include - The Great British Benefits Hotel, The Spy Who Came In From Al-Qaeda, Exposure: Charities Behaving Badly, Exposure: Undercover Colleges, ITV News at Ten, Dispatches: Landlords from Hell, Dispatches: Undercover Debt Collector and Police Interceptors. Both Exposure: Charities Behaving Badly and Exposure: Undercover Colleges were Tom's own projects. He uncovered the stories, wrote the proposals, got them commissioned, developed, investigated and saw the films all the way through to broadcast and beyond - producing, directing and filming.
Tom’s most recent success is getting Wiretap's first series commissioned. It's coming to BBC ONE soon and it's about a new type of food charity that uses food waste to solve food poverty. Tom found the story, developed it, got it commissioned and is the Executive Producer of the series. You can watch The Big Food Rescue on BBC ONE from 28/11/16 to 02/12/16.
